Sway Bar Installation Kit
If you have an aftermarket rear end and no way to install a rear sway, this kit is the solution. This kit includes everything needed to install a factory or aftermarket sway bar to your new rear end. Supplied with this kit is new bolt on CNC machined bushings mounts, heavy duty zinc plated chrome moly u-bolts and longer end links. This kit places the sway bar below the larger center section on aftermarket rear ends and provides proper clearance. The supplied longer end links provide the proper geometry of the rear sway in its new mounting location.Requires no welding. Note: This kit will also work on adapting a rear sway bar to vehicles that were not supplied with a sway bar from the factory.
Polyurethane Sway Bar Bushings: Due to the larger u-bolts needed for aftermarket rear ends the factory sway bar bushings and clamshells will not work. This kit requires polyurethane bushings that feature larger slots for a universal fit. We have these bushings available in 19mm and 22mm, if you purchased an aftermarket sway bar it most likely was supplied with these bushings. |

Using chrome moly center bars, 108mm Porsche style CV's and bolt on chrome moly inner and outer stubs, these are a direct bolt on that fit the stock hubs and come complete with all the necessary hardware. Not only will these axles handle the horsepower, they use different diameter chrome moly axle bars on each side which will eliminate wheel hop. Wheel hop at launch can be extremely damaging to the drivetrain and makes getting traction very difficult. -The Ram Air has gained 2+ mph on every car tested and as much as 2.7 mph. We have seen 1+ mph gains over others similar raim air kit which are heavier as well.
-The kit is made from .040" thick aluminum and black epoxy coated. The aluminium contruction keeps it very light with the racer in mind coming it at 1.5lbs total, some others are made from Stainless Steel and can weigh ~5lbs (FTRA)
-Minor modification are required for proper fit of the kit. The ram air will work with the front bumper support in place as well as the windshield washer reservoir. Only thing that must be removed is the A/C condenser.
-It is made to be fully functional on the street and track, with a removable front scoop. The removable scoop is so you wont have to worry about ripping it off on curbs, or park blocks. |

Recent dyno testing of our 1-7/8" system with cats produced gains of 32 RWHP without a tune and 50 RWHP with a tune. RWTQ was up 45 ft. lbs after the tune. The system comes with everything you'd expect from A.R.H. This includes 3/8" thick flanges with tig welded and hand ported inlets, merge collectors with scavenger spikes, 200 cell metallic substrate cats, OEM style band clamps, Grade 8 hardware and Flat Out Racing Gaskets. They replace OEM arms produced from stamped steel that can deform under hard cornering loads and which use an eccentric for rear toe adjustment that is susceptible to slippage. The heim joint on the Edelbrock toe links allow the suspension to operate smoothly throughout its full range of motion. The kit includes lockouts for the eccentrics to stop any movement of the rear toe adjustment and relocates the adjustment point onto the toe link for a finer and easier adjustment. |
